UK-based Avtrade has purchased two 737-700 aircraft for part-out in a move aimed at increasing its component inventory. The 737s, currently based in Tucson, Arizona, are the first aircraft the component specialist has bought this year. Avtrade said once parted out, components will be made available for immediate sale, loan or exchange. Tom Lane, Avtrade’s director of asset management, said: “We see the purchase of these two aircraft, not only as an opportunity to optimise 737 fleet material, but a sign of Avtrade’s continued commitment to providing component solutions to operators worldwide.”
