On the eve of the opening of the European business aviation cabin EBACE- 2014 Dassault Aviation company unveiled its new program : Falcon 8X. The new aircraft - extended to 1 m version of the current flagship of the French manufacturer , trimotored Falcon 7X.
In addition to the elongated fuselage ( the longest in the family of Falcon), Falcon 8X range will be 925 miles more than the 7X , it will be 11,945 km at a speed of 0.8 M. The manufacturer also states that due to improvements in the design of the engine Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307 wing and new aircraft will feature low operating costs and high fuel efficiency , surpassing all the aircraft in the segment of " long-range " of business jets by 35%. In addition , Falcon 8X able to fly to airports with short runways ( required length of the strip 1829 m ), the rate of call for the typical load will be 197 km / h
