Despite the seasonal load traffic falls again

Consulting Agency WINGX Advance released a report on the activity of the European Business Aviation in May 2014. Compared to the previous month activity increased by 17%, but have been falling year on year by 2.2% since the beginning of the year compared with 2013 year traffic was down 0.6%.

Growing number of long-haul flights is reflected in the demand for aircraft ultradalnie whose activity increased by 19% year on year. Gulfstream business jets made 25% more flights compared to last year, and Dassault - 13%. Plaque Falcon 7X increased since the beginning of the year by 19%.
Only one of the remaining segments, which worked fine in May became ultralight segment of business jets. As ultra-long Jets, VLJ activity increased every month since 2012. In May the success of long-range aircraft were observed in private and charter flights, and rose only VLJ charters.
Other segments of the aircraft lost activity annualized, especially business liners, heavy and medium business jets. Ultralight aircraft charters only able to improve results. Among manufacturers YTD only Embraer fleet showed a strong increase in activity.
