General Aviation Services has added David Coleman to its team of aircraft sales and acquisition professionals, General Aviation Services President Greg Duckson announced.
Coleman, a Chicago native, will be based out of General Aviation Services headquarters in Chicago and will handle its expanding Midwestern portfolio.
“Dave’s extensive experience in the corporate aviation industry, along with his passion for flying gives him the perspective that our clients require,” Duckson said. “More importantly, he personifies the values that define General Aviation Services: integrity, advocacy, expertise, problem solving and a passion for serving others.”
As the newest addition to the General Aviation Services team, Coleman brings with him over two decades of aviation industry experience. Coleman grew up in corporate aviation, working for his family’s aircraft sales business, where he sold his first aircraft while still a teenager. More recently, Coleman flew as a professional pilot, was the Regional Manager for Air BP, and spearheaded the reintroduction of the Total Eclipse and Eclipse 550 Jet in the Midwest. Coleman’s specialties include aircraft sales and leasing, aircraft transaction management, maintenance oversight, and flight operations safety.
Coleman is an ATP rated pilot with over 6,500 incident and violation free flying hours in over 37 models of aircraft including type ratings in both turboprop and jet aircraft. Coleman serves as a Member of the Board of the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association and volunteers his time on the Flight Safety Committee.
Coleman is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and presently resides in the Chicago Suburbs with his wife and two children.
