Jet Aviation Basel (part of an international group of Jet Aviation, with headquarters in Switzerland) has received EASA Part 145 certificate, which will allow the company to start work on the maintenance and repair of aircraft B787 Dreamliner, including customization. The first contract for the conversion BBJ787-9 Dreamliner, was signed in May 2015 and soon the plane will fly to Basel for the installation of the interior. The second liner, which will begin work soon become a "classic» BBJ787 company PrivatAir. Currently, Jet Aviation Basel is one of the largest players in the MRO and aircraft conversion. Now the company employs more than 1,600 people who work in its own technical center in Basel, where virtually all work performed. Jet Aviation Basel is certified to perform work on the aircraft of the new generation Airbus A380 and Boeing 747-8, as well as the Airbus ACJ319, ACJ320, ACJ330, ACJ340 and Boeing B737, B757, B767, B747-400. Jet Aviation Basel also approved as a service center company Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Embraer and Gulfstream and has 21 certified by the aviation authorities of different countries.

Currently, the portfolio of orders for BBJ787 consists of 15 aircraft, six of which delivered to customers, and one is in operation.
