Evektor company has signed the MOU with Russian company AeroGeo for the delivery of nine (9) airplanes EV-55 Outback. The options for another 20 airplanes are part of the memorandum. All airplanes should be delivered till the year 2020. With respect to the current price of the EV-55, which is 2.1 million USD, the signed MOU represents deliveries amounting to 60.9 million USD. The airplanes are intended for regional transport in the area of Central Siberia. AeroGeo company belongs for 40 years to the leading companies on the Russian market in the area of aviation geophysical exploration.

Since the very beginning the EV-55 was developed for operation in extreme climatic conditions with focus on economic gains for its operators “, stated Jaroslav Růžička, Chairman of Evektor.
Part of Evektor´s extended activities on the territory of Russian Federation was foundation of subsidiary company "Vektor NG RUS" with the seat of business in Moscow which is responsible for marketing activities relating to sale of the EV-55 airplane on the Russian Federation territory, creation of service network and preparation of conditions for production of the EV-55 on the Russian Federation territory.
Evektor has launched the program of deposit receiving which enables potential customers to reserve the delivery position for the EV-55.
The EV-55 Outback is a multi-purpose, twin-engine, turboprop airplane for transportation of 9 - 14 passengers or 1800 kg cargo. The airplane has the most spacious cabin for passengers and cargo in its category with the total volume of 12.5 m3 and its cruising speed reaches 220 kts at 100 flight level. Technical parameters of this airplane predestinate it for operation from short, unpaved runways as well as from high altitude airports. High productivity and low costs of operation and maintenance represent a high utility value of the EV-55 Outback which can be used by aircraft operators all over the world. The EV-55 objective is replacement of already obsolete twin-engine piston airplanes with capacity for 6 – 9 passengers and it wants to be a successful competitor for single-engine turboprop airplanes.
