Dassault’s Falcon 900LX, the newest member of the Falcon 900 state-of-the-art corporate jets family, has won the certification from both the EASA and FAA.
The large-cabin 900LX bizjet is designed on the 900EX basis, but with improved performance and economy. Emphasizing that the trial jet burns up to 40 percent less fuel than other aircraft in its class, Dassault adds the improved performance to advanced lightweight structure, upgraded wing and new winglets. The new airplane’s range of about 8,800 km makes it possible nonstop flights between New York and Moscow, for example. Further flight tests are going on to gain approvals for more advanced operations of a mentioned business jet, such as Category III landing, with target completion dates scheduled for next year.
