Our founder started flying in 1995. Not as a hobby - as a profession. Over the following three decades, he operated an airline, managed aircraft on behalf of owners, and bought and sold jets with his own capital at risk. That sequence matters. It means the advice we provide comes from direct experience, not theory.
Who We Are
Business Aviation Group of Partners handles aircraft acquisition, operational management, and continuing airworthiness services for aircraft owners and asset managers who expect things to be done properly. If you are evaluating aircraft for sale or reviewing jets for sale in the pre-owned market, you are entering one of the most opaque and technically demanding asset classes in existence. We know this market from the inside.
We work across the full ownership lifecycle: sourcing aircraft, negotiating acquisitions, placing jets under AOC management, overseeing CAMO programmes, and structuring operator services capable of withstanding regulatory scrutiny. Our relationships with Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault, Embraer, Cessna, and Raytheon span decades — as do our connections with aircraft registries, maintenance organisations, and civil aviation authorities across multiple jurisdictions.
What Goes Wrong Without the Right Setup
Most aircraft ownership problems are predictable.
An owner acquires a jet, skips operational due diligence, and six months later faces an AOC structure that cannot be approved, a maintenance programme incompatible with the aircraft registration, or a heavy maintenance event that was never factored into the acquisition budget.
Obtaining an AOC independently can take years. It requires certified postholders, an established compliance structure, working relationships with the relevant aviation authority, and substantial financial resources. Most owners have no practical reason to build that infrastructure from scratch. The more efficient solution is to place the aircraft within an existing AOC management platform structured correctly from day one.
The business jet for sale market further compounds the challenge. Pre-owned aircraft pricing is often opaque. Sellers understand their aircraft’s maintenance history in detail. Buyers frequently do not — until after closing the transaction.
Engine programme enrolment, upcoming C-checks, open airworthiness directives, avionics certification gaps — each of these factors can materially alter the real cost of ownership. The asking price alone reveals very little.
We know what to look for because we have operated on both sides of these transactions.
How We Work
We begin with what the client actually requires.
Some clients need an aircraft sourced and acquired. Others need an existing jet integrated into a managed operation under AOC oversight. Some require a CAMO structure developed from the ground up. Many require all of it. We structure the solution accordingly.
Our recommendations are based on operational realities, aircraft-specific technical factors, market conditions, and the regulatory environment — not on what is easiest to sell.
We have worked with many of the same counterparties for years. In business aviation, direct access matters. The ability to call the right person at an aircraft registry, MRO facility, or aviation authority is often worth more than any formal process.
We have spent three decades building those relationships, and we leverage them in every client engagement.
