The G700 gives up some range compared with the Global 8000 but has a very large cabin with multiple living areas.
Its maximum operating speed is Mach 0.935, so it remains a serious competitor. For an owner who puts cabin space and interior flexibility first, the 250 nm difference in published range needs to be considered alongside the actual routes.
Dassault Falcon 10X for sale / Range: 7,500 nm / Passengers: Up to 19 / Maximum operating speed: Mach 0.925.
The Falcon 10X is particularly interesting because of its cabin. Dassault lists a cabin width of 9 feet 1 inch and a height of 6 feet 8 inches, both larger than the Global 8000.
The Global 8000 has a 500 nm range advantage, along with a higher maximum operating speed. At this level, the decision comes down to what matters most to the owner: range and speed, or cabin size.
Bombardier Global 7500 for sale / Range: 7,700 nm / Maximum operating speed: Mach 0.925.
This is the closest relative to the Global 8000 and probably the most natural aircraft to compare it with.
The Global 8000 adds range and speed, while retaining the basic Global 7500 cabin concept. For an existing 7500 owner, the question is different. It is worth calculating how much the additional capability is actually needed before moving to an 8000.
This is not simply a question of which aircraft is better. It is a question of the mission.

The Falcon 8X is well below the Global 8000 in range, but it remains relevant for an owner who does not need 8,000 nm.
The 8X takes a different approach to size and operation. If most of your routes are well below the Global 8000's maximum range, a more compact long-range aircraft may be the more sensible choice.
