The Falcon 10X has a 2.77 m wide and 2.03 m high cabin, with up to 19 passenger seats. That is a remarkable amount of space for a purpose-built business jet. Dassault says the cabin is almost 20 cm wider and 5 cm taller than the widest and tallest purpose-built business jet previously flying.

In 2025, Dassault will introduce the Falcon 10X — the ultra-widebody, ultra long-range flagship with 13,890 km (7,500 nm) range and 2.77 m cabin width — wider than some airline first-class cabins.
Specifications That Will Redefine the Category
Falcon 10X projected performance:
• Range: 13,890 km (7,500 nm): New York to Shanghai, London to Sydney;
• Speed: Mach 0.925 maximum - matching Gulfstream;
• Capacity: 12 to 16 passengers in the ultra - widebody cabin;
• Flight controls: Advanced DFCS with upset recovery mode;
• Smart Throttle: Single-lever control derived from Rafale fighter.

The 10X will introduce automatic upset recovery — press a button, and the aircraft returns to stable flight. It will have the largest windows in business aviation and FalconEye EVS-to-land capability.
What does 7,500 nm actually mean?
Dassault's published range is 7,500 nm / 13,890 km at Mach 0.85, based on eight passengers, four crew, ISA conditions, sea level, zero wind and NBAA IFR reserves.
That is enough for city pairs such as:
New York to Shanghai.
Los Angeles to Sydney.
Paris to Santiago.
Hong Kong to New York.
And at the higher Mach 0.90 cruise profile, Dassault lists missions such as New York to Dubai, Geneva to Singapore and Hong Kong to San Francisco.
Of course, real-world range is never just a brochure number.
Wind matters.
Payload matters.
Routing matters.
Fuel reserves matter.
That is why I would always calculate the actual mission before deciding whether an aircraft "has enough range."
But 7,500 nm gives you a lot of room to work with.
Then there is the cabin
The cabin is 2.77 m wide, 2.03 m high and approximately 16.4 m long, with about 78.7 m³ of cabin volume.
Up to 19 passengers can be accommodated depending on configuration.
There are individual temperature controls for the cabin zones, and Dassault has designed the interior around multiple living areas rather than simply adding more seats.
Think about a 12-hour flight.
You want somewhere to work.
Somewhere to eat.
Somewhere to have a proper conversation.
And eventually, somewhere to stop thinking about the fact that you're 41,000 feet above the Atlantic.
That is where cabin volume stops being a specification and starts becoming useful.
The windows are worth mentioning too
The Falcon 10X has 38 windows, and Dassault says they are nearly 50 percent larger than those of the Falcon 8X.
That may sound like a luxury detail.
It isn't entirely.
Natural light changes the feel of a long flight. The larger windows also give passengers a very different visual connection with the outside world.
And after several hours inside any aircraft, you notice these things.
Three Falcon 10X facts worth knowing
  • It is the first Falcon with an all-composite wing.
Dassault has built an entirely new composite wing for the 10X. The objective is straightforward: reduce structural weight and drag while keeping the aerodynamic efficiency needed for ultra-long-range flight.
For a pilot, that is more interesting than the phrase "new wing" sounds.
Every kilogram saved matters when you are carrying a lot of fuel.
  • The Smart Throttle comes from the Rafale fighter.
The Falcon 10X uses a single-lever Smart Throttle to control both engines. Dassault developed the concept from the mono-throttle used on the twin-engine Rafale fighter. It is integrated with the Digital Flight Control System and can automate several engine-management tasks, including reduced-thrust takeoffs, noise-abatement procedures and engine-out management.
That is a clever bit of fighter technology brought into civil aviation.
And yes, it is something pilots notice.
  • The automatic recovery system is there for a very specific reason.
The 10X's DFCS includes an Automatic Recovery Mode designed to help recover the aircraft from an unusual attitude, such as after a wake-turbulence upset or loss-of-control event.

The system can work with the autopilot and Smart Throttle to return the aircraft toward a safe attitude and airspeed.
This is not a button you press because you forgot how to fly.
It is another layer of protection when something unexpected happens at altitude, at night, or in weather.
That distinction matters.
Falcon 10X competitors
This is where the comparison becomes interesting.

Gulfstream G700: approximately 7,750 nm, up to 19 passengers.
Gulfstream G800: approximately 8,200 nm, up to 19 passengers depending on configuration.
Bombardier Global 8000: another direct ultra-long-range competitor in the same top tier of the business aviation market.

On published range alone, the Falcon 10X does not lead the category.
The G800 goes farther.
That is fine.
The Falcon's argument is different: 7,500 nm, a 2.77 m wide cabin, Mach 0.925 capability, advanced Dassault flight controls, fighter-derived automation and access to airports such as London City.
That is a serious package.
The Verdict
The Dassault Falcon 10X for sale is aimed at an owner who wants long-range capability without giving up cabin space or airport flexibility.
Its published 7,500 nm range is serious.
Its 2.77 m cabin width is remarkable.
Its Mach 0.925 MMO gives it plenty of speed when the mission calls for it.
And the NeXus flight deck, Smart Throttle, Automatic Recovery Mode, FalconEye and new DFCS bring a lot of Dassault's fighter-derived thinking into civil aviation.
But I would keep one thing in mind.
This is a new aircraft entering certification.
That means the smart buyer will follow the program, understand the final specification and make the purchase decision around the actual mission, not the brochure.
