Bombardier Global 7500 for sale / Range: 7,700 nm.
The Global 7500 is the most direct comparison for a buyer looking at a large-cabin ultra-long-range aircraft. Its published range is 200 nm beyond the G650ER, and its cabin is divided into four living spaces.
The G650ER counters with a very mature fleet and an established operating history. The Global 7500 is the newer design, while the G650ER is the more established platform.
Bombardier Global 8000 for sale / Range: 8,000 nm class.
The Global 8000 moves the range target beyond both the G650ER and Global 7500. It is a newer-generation aircraft aimed directly at buyers who want maximum range with modern cabin and cockpit technology.
For a pre-owned buyer, however, availability and acquisition cost can make the G650ER a very different proposition.
Gulfstream G700 for sale / Range: 7,750 nm / Passengers: Up to 19.
The G700 is the natural Gulfstream alternative. Its range is 250 nm beyond the G650ER, but the cabin is much longer at 57 ft 0 in and provides up to five living areas. It also uses the Symmetry Flight Deck.
If cabin volume and the latest cockpit are priorities, the G700 has a clear advantage.
Gulfstream G800 for sale / Range: 8,200 nm / Passengers: Up to 19.
The G800 is the direct successor to the G650ER in Gulfstream's product line. Its published range is 8,200 nm at Mach 0.85, with Mach 0.935 maximum operating speed. It uses Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines and the Symmetry Flight Deck.
The G800 is the better technical answer for a buyer who wants Gulfstream's newest long-range platform. The G650ER remains attractive when the buyer wants proven hardware and the pre-owned market rather than a new-aircraft acquisition.
Dassault Falcon 10X for sale / Range: 7,500 nm / Passengers: Up to 19.
The Falcon 10X matches the G650ER's published range but has a substantially larger cabin. Dassault publishes 9 ft 1 in of cabin width, 6 ft 8 in of height and 2,780 cu ft of cabin volume. Its maximum operating speed is Mach 0.925.
For the buyer who puts cabin size first, the Falcon 10X is the aircraft to study.
Dassault Falcon 8X for sale / Range: 6,450 nm / Passengers: Up to 16.
The Falcon 8X gives up more than 1,000 nm of published range but brings a different operating philosophy and three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307D engines. Its cabin is smaller than the G650ER, at 1,695 cu ft.
It becomes more relevant when the mission does not require the G650ER's full range capability.
